chatting with many Europeans on the SW coastal path ( my joy the last 6 months) - the great majority being European, it is a gorgeous saudade ( hiraeth, plus the possibility of ' getting it back' that is implicit in that Portuguese word) how all Europeans are still so much more comfortable in their own skin, at ease.... wholesome and feet on the ground... easily meet one eye-to-eye as pure equals out walking; and i wish to make some filmed project speaking with many as i have been.
Just to ask the question, how have so many Brits ended up in a less easy mode.
For example if i ask European mothers ( it almost entirely is women walking) " do your children speak of false allegation [ against teacher or neighbour], self harm, eating disorders, mental health issues, 'gender' matters, addiction- especially now ubiquitous ketamine horse ferkin tranquiluser, everywhere! causing havoc in the secondary schools of even this region, or their parents ' hoarding' illness that swept uk..."? their body language speaks of not really knowing what you are talking about. As these things are far far less common in Europe.
UK went over the cliff in respect of our childrens' social environment. Not EU....
