 My advice, keep the sea, boats, and ANYthing nautical - even rivers unless genius Herman Hesse,  out of your art - even if a great poet or writer ( except a certain Tightrope ditty that works). Using them in art is as bad as enforced diversity/ confected vulnerability  - kills real creative alive thought. And they are just dull.
