All that matters.
Fifteen miles of tame cliff pathways. And i understand... it is curious how three months ago seemingly quite tough walking women would term the pathways along the south coast as 'extreme'.
All is simply relative. I have spent around 30 years of y life since age 12 or 13 walking - to them even more extreme pathways. So to me they are not extreme.
Just as i know full well the mind is relative.
If, as me, one has never watched a horror movie - in fact hardly watched any tv as an adult and gave away the last tv in my life nearly 25 years ago.
If one has spent 25 years, no matter what, and in some ways still, only dedicated to ones child.
If one goes to bed at 9pm 99.9% of the time for 25 years, and wakes voluntarily at 6am, sometimes in phases of 5.15, and STILL reads proper literary fiction... albeit not so much as in the past - down to maybe 4 a year when in my 20s it would be 4 or more a month ...
If one leads a life such that 99.9% of the time for 20 years one is in pretty wonderful natural surrounds, and onesself uses NO 'products' - no chemicals in any way on my body ever.... and has not had a partner who uses them either... when i wander the pathways i am literally assailed by the scent of any passing walker or jogger nowadays - i simply cannot believe why they waste their time and money on these chemicals which to the non chemical user really are pungent ...
But then all that matters the last 7 or 8 years simply is the movement.... get it up to 20 or more miles a week... and one feels yong an alive no matter what - even if one is quite obviously a separate species to the 99% for whom the screen is them...
And then the small screen comes along - i make sure i really limit all use of the mobile phone to quite minimal - most deliberately - i know for sure, along with tv, the small screen in everyones pocket made everyone else a new entirely different species...It would be 'judgemental' to say a lesser species....even if know that is true
And then all the rest: never cursed at another motorist - never mind raged that person... never partaken in any way at all ever in any sport; never played any computer game or in fact ever used any electronic device for any form of entertainment except to educate myself once or twice a week with intelligent ('art house' or indie) filmmaking ....SO little around the last 15 or so years....i still search as i have 'hope'...
